-Hey hey hey, finals are finally almost done. I only got one more left this Friday and I will be finished, and then will be enjoying a well deserved 3 day break from classes. I believe yesterday was my last day doing my yearly holiday help for Gamestop, so I will have a fairly decent schedule the next few weeks. Hoo-rah for that!

-Haven't really been up to a whole lot lately, just work and finishing up classes. A new theater opened up across the river in East Grand Forks, the River Cinema 12, which from the couple people I did talk to who went there, they said the theater is very nice, and the tix are $2 cheaper than at the other cinemas in town. So I definitely want to check it out....just gotta find a good film to see.

-Hey, the Niners won, huzzah! Good for you Shaun Hill, whoever you are, it'll prolly be the Niners last win of the season, but I'll take what I can get it. And let's hear it for good 'ol Brooks Bollinger successfully filling in for Mr. 3 INT's Jackson and managing to secure the win for the Vikes on Monday Night football. Huzzah!

-Last weekend went by allright. On Thursday Joey came over and us and Jarrod from the Playstation Nation podcast recorded a show looking back at the Hitman games and the Hitman movie. Right click to download the latest podcast

On Friday, I met up with my dad to help him unload a new dryer he picked..that was a ton of fun, but I was rewarded with a mighty tasty pot roast........and pot roast kicks ass. Later that night I met up with Chris and Scott and we continued a bit more of our Rock Band world tour career. That mode is a ton of fun, way better than Guitar Hero's co-op experience.

On one of my days off I spent a decent chunk catching up on some gaming. I threw in Eternal Sonata for the first time in a few weeks and made some decent progress, I completed act one, and a few days later made some more progress in act two. I am surprised at how much I am digging this game, I really like the story, but most importantly the battle system isn't overly complex and remain somewhat fun and easily accessible at the same time. I also started Mass Effect up for the first time and got about four hours in, got the first main quest done and am now at Citadel, and got one side quest done there. But wow am I getting sidetracted all over the place with various sidequests appearing almost with no effort on my part and what not. Mass Effect reminds me almost exactly of KOTOR, but thankfully with a little bit more real time action focus on the battles.

-Speaking of gaming, I completed game #17 of the year last week: The Simpsons Game (360). That's right, I checked it out from GameFly determined to finally beat that damn game, it took me a couple more hours which culminated at about 9 or 10 hours total of game time to complete, and while the camera pissed me off to no end, the awesome story somewhat made up for it.

-So how about that RAW 15th Anniversary show? That was stellar seeing all those stars from the past, and I completely geeked out when I saw my old favorite undercard wrestler of all time make his return......the Leathal Weapon, Steve Blackman!!! Also, wow does Sunny still look amazing, and Trish & Lita making a special return is always a good thing. Just a great nostalgia show overall, and all those old flashbacks made me remember the awesome times of the Monday Night Wars and beyond. Right now I'm digging Jericho's angle with JBL, and Flair's gimmick where he'll retire on his next singles loss. Flair gave an awesome promo before his match with Umaga, and I was on my toes to see how the match would play out, and it had some very smart booking, with Flair narrowly surviving by a count-out after Umaga butt-splashed himself thru the security barrier. It has me all the more curious to see how mis match with HHH turns out on New Year's Eve.

-That's all I got for now, latez!
