-Happy belated Thanksgiving everyone! I had a fabulous Thanksgiving weekend and did the traditional two Thanksgiving dinners on two different days courtesy of divorced parents. If there ever is a plus to having divorced parents, that is it. Ann hosted the dinner at her place for celebrating with my dad, and we had a fantastic dinner, and leftovers! Played some Scene It on the 360, which I was horrible at! That was on Thanksgiving day, when that wrapped up, I met up with Dick, Dave, Tony, Adam and Brandon to get some drinks at O'Reillys which was having a special Turkey Day open bar!

My sister Sherrie, her boyfriend Bruce, and my two nieces Brianna and Nicole came to celebrate with my mom a couple of days later. Had another superb dinner, and dare I use the cliche, "with all the fixings!" Played a lot of games with family too, including a new dice/quarter game which the name escapes me right now, and I swear a 12 person game of Apples to Apples which wound up bizzarely enough, being the fastest game of Apples to Apples I have ever played. I attempted hooking up my 360 to play some Scene It and karaoke to Rock Band 2, but I was unfortunately having troubles with the Rock Band 2 disc and my mom's SD television was horrible at displaying the text of the Scene It questions properly. Overall though, an awesome Thanksgiving weekend!

-Speaking of Thanksgiving, it is time for my annual Black Friday grab list! Target was cool and let people who worked overnight setting up for the Black Friday sale into Thanksgiving get first dibs at whatever we wanted to when we got off work. I picked up a a $8 pair of jeans, a $3 sandwhich maker and Batman Begins & Dark Knight on BluRay for $13 each. On the actual Black Friday, I did not wake up early enough to brave the opening door crowds like I have done the past few years. Joey and I tried, but we were too damn tired! Ended up going later in the day and picking up Smackdown vs. RAW 2010 for $40 at KMart, and trekking out to Best Buy to pick up Weezer's Raditude for $7, The Matrix on BluRay for $13 and the final season of The Shield on DVD for $12 (now have a complete set, whooo!) Went online and took advantage of WWE.com's day after sale and picked up DVDs for Best of Tag Teams, Smackdown 10th Anniversary set, and the newest Hulk Hogan set and the new DX and Rey Mysterio biographies. Finally, got a few games at Gamestop's buy 2 used, get one free sale and picked up Demons Souls, Star Ocean: The Last Hope and Sacred 2. Yes, I know three RPGs that I imagine will be difficult to find time for.

-Helped Dave move across town this past couple of weeks. Made a few trips moving his couch and bed. Will suck not having a buddy live a few houses down the street anymore for easy stumbling distance on drinking nights.

-Had a few coworkers recognize me recently for being at Target for eight years now. Those years sure do fly by, hopefully not that many will be spent there and I will hear back from one of the people I sent out resumes to.

-As I type this, I am watching the Vikings put on a pigskin clinic against the Bears. I wish I could say the Niners were having as good of a season. They are currently ahead of Jags according to NFL.com 20-3, but of their current six losses, five of them have been within a touchdown. That is heartbreaking with so many close calls! Alex Smith is looking decent coming back in after his lengthy hiatus, and maybe one day he will prove that we was a worthy #1 pick.

-Last week I saw the Tran-Siberian Orchestra in concert. I picked up one of their discs last year and absolutely loved it. I really like their modern take on Christmas music. I had no idea what TSO had in store for a live show, but they had a sweet setup full of pyro, fog and laser lights, etc. Awesome show all around and other than a pair of cover band shows I went to, this was the first major concert I have been to all year.

-On Thanksgiving, Speed channel had a Bullrun marathon. In case you don't recall, it is a reality show where a dozen teams of tricked out cars compete on a 4,000 mile trek. This is one of the few reality shows I find myself really getting into, and it is not because it is hosted by Bill Goldberg. This was for season two, and I watched two episodes, and taped two more and got hooked all over again. I really wanted to finish off the season though, and was disappointed to not see any of the first two seasons available on DVD online. Hulu does not have it available either, anyone got any hookups?

-Cheap Pop #29 is up! It is the first new show of my wrestling podcast in five months! Dick was visiting for Thanksgiving, and we just had to get a show in! This show features a Survivor Series recap, TNA Crossfire, ECW Roundup, Hogan bringing Ric Flair out of retirement and DVD reviews for Smackdown 10th Anniversary, Rise and Fall of WCW, Kayfabe and Supercard of Honor IV - http://www.ontappodcast.com/cpshows/cheappop29.mp3

-I had one of my least attended wrestling PPV parties with Survivor Series. Just Dave and another coworker, Sean made it over. The PPV itself was one of the better Survivor Series in quite a few years, with a couple of really good traditional Survivor Series matches and two impressive world title matches. I think the show really established a new era of superstars, and help elevated the pushes of guys like Miz, Sheamus, Dru McIntyre and Kofi Kingston.

-Any Entourage fans here? I believe I may have mentioned the show on a previous blog, but whenever I get an Entourage disc in from Netflix I have been burning through them. On the final disc of season 2, and picked up seasons 4 and 5 from Target on a $15 sale they were running. I remember first hearing the concept of the show, and originally thought it sounded incredibly lame, but somehow I find myself addicted to how Vinny Chase will portray Aquaman and what gig Drama will screw up next. Why did I hold off so long on this awesome show!?

-I realized I failed to update what games I have beaten on my last blog, so here's a quick update on that, the list is now at 31 games, surpassing what I reached last year. #29 is Borderlands on 360, #30 goes to Modern Warfare 2 on 360 and #31 is to Flower on PS3. Borderlands is a kickass co-op game, and was a blast to play with friends online. Modern Warfare 2 I borrowed from Joey and I plowed through its single player story within five hours, which was just as adrenaline-filled with nonstop action like its predecessor. Seemed like a videogame version of 24, with some big event going down every several scenes. Flower was a pleasent, Zen-like experience that was cool to mello out to inbetween serious game sessions.

-Let's do some quick bullet point crossfire on what else I have been playing, because this blog has ran long enough.

-Rented Wet on PS3, but only got about halfway through when my rental was up. Ok action game, but Stranglehold is a far superior game. Controls are not polished and the gameplay gets way too frustrating on some platform levels halfway in.

-Finally started putting some serious time into Infamous. About several hours in and it reminds me a lot of the crazy, awesome action in Crackdown, but now with a narrative I actually care about.

-Assassins Creed - Only a little bit into this, borrowed from a friend and I want to put more time into this with all the buzz the sequel has been getting lately.

-Scene It/Buzz - Had a blast playing at my sisters, but like I said above, do not play this on a standard def television.

-Military Madness - Played a lot of this for a VGevo/developer game night where people who beat us won Military Madness branded dog tags from Hudson. Played against some hardcore MM fans who royally schooled me. The remake of this on PS3 reminds me a lot of Advance Wars. Never played TG16 original, but if you dug Advance Wars, you will feel right at home with this.

-Madden NFL 2010 - Threw this one in for the first time in awhile, and got dominated by Rich online.

-Phoenix Wright: And Justice For All - Working on the last case still, expect to see this make the games beaten list by the end of the year.

-Gears of War 2 - Still playing a bit of this online, especially with a triple XP week they ran the week Modern Warfare 2 launched. Was delighted to see them keep double XP going forward after the triple XP week ended.

-Thats all for now, another crazy long blog is over!
